I love the Lord of the Rings series, R.A Salvatore's Dark Elf series, and Tom Clancy, book-wise, but am always considering something new to read.

Music-wise, I tend to like '60's through present, and a fairly wide variety of artists...Boz Scaggs (definately a favorite!), Tool, Peter Gabriel, Elton John, George Michael, Billy Joel, A Perfect Circle, Fleetwood Mac...
...I'm also a big fan of Classical, Romantic, and Baroque music, and really enjoy J.S Bach and Beethoven.

Favorite TV shows have to be Supernatural and Daily Planet.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
Right now, I'm working at the Citadel - which is fun in its own twisted way. You really can't love yourself and work there! :p

I'm also a blacksmith who dabbles in silversmithing, and I really do enjoy both. Creating things is a passion for me...I couldn't live without being able to make things.

The smith work I do is anywhere from small things like wands (yeah, the wizard type :p) to railings for houses, horse shoes (though I don't shoe horses), hooks, and pretty well anything that needs to be made.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Blacksmithing and reading are big things for me. I also enjoy going to the Alehouse with the guys from work, or going to a bar with some friends to drink and shoot pool.

Watching movies is definately good times, and I'll be the first to admit an addiction to the computer!

Composing music, singing, drawing, writing, browsing shops, going for long walks, hiking through the woods or mountains, and rock climbing are all things I truly enjoy...I love new adventures!

What do you hate doing?
I hate doing the dishes; it bothers my hands.

Being early sentry (at work), or sentry every single day also sucks considerably.

I also -hate- when I say something (for instance promising to be somewhere at a certain time), and something gets in the way...Few things bug me quite so much as this!

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
From Halifax...I've basicly lived here all my life. I spent my first five years in a quiet little area of Dartmouth, living with my mom and grandparents.

My grandfather was a retired sailor (navy, WWII), and policeman (37 years...), and I attribute much of my values, morals and ethics to him.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
Unfortunately no: My dog died early '07, and I'm not really ready for another pet yet.

What would you say is your best virtue?
I think it would be integrity.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
Probably deciding to climb that last peak of Rams Horn on my own...But what a rush!

Placing my trust in dishonest/manipulative people.

Food, water, and a tarp!

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
Very, very good.

To keep in shape? I tend to walk a lot, just because I'm not a fan of the idea of driving. My full time job tends to involve a lot of marching with a lot of added weight, and blacksmithing also tends to be pretty intense at times.

I also try to run up the Hill, drill a little extra, and push myself more when I start feeling out of it, but I have no trouble keeping weight off...It's mainly just keeping muscle on!

A good diet helps, too - I try to eat as well as I can most of the time,. I'm not a health nut or anything, but I'm conscious of what I eat.
